Medal of Honor: Warfighter is a first-person shooter video game developed by Danger Close Games and published by Electronic Arts. It is a direct sequel to 2010s series reboot Medal of Honor (2010) and the fourteenth Medal of Honor installment in the series. The title was officially announced on February 23, 2012, and was released in North America on October 23, 2012, and is set to be released in the United Kingdom on October 26, 2012.
The game runs on DICE's Frostbite 2 (the same engine that Battlefield 3 uses). The PC version only supports Windows Vista/7 and DirectX 10 and 11.

The gameplay of Warfighter includes six different classes which are Assault, Sniper, Demolitions, Point Man, Heavy Gunner, and Spec Ops. It uses a fire team system where two people must work together and there are certain perks to working as a team. "Support-actions" return in Warfighter, and now have a bigger impact on the gameplay and how one approaches situations. Also, when one acquires a kill-streak, the player is given a choice on of one or the other, larger kill pile-ups will have greater rewards.

Single-player

The single-player follows the story of Tier 1 operators. The single-player features various locations including Bosnia, Pakistan, Philippines and Somalia.

 Playable Characters
Medal of Honor: Warfighter will have two playable characters for the single-player campaign instead of the four playable characters from Medal of Honor (2010).
  • Stump
A Recon Marine-turned U.S. Navy SEAL.
  • Preacher
One of the main characters from the previous Medal of Honor games.

Multiplayer

Medal of Honor: Warfighter's multiplayer was not developed by EA Digital Illusions CE who helped develop Medal of Honor (2010)'s multiplayer. Danger Close Games developed its own multiplayer with DICE's Frostbite 2 engine. Players are involved in a global battle by choosing which country they would like to defend. There are 12 different tier one units from ten different nations that players can choose from. Reserving the game will gave players access to additional content when Warfighter releases, including additional weapons and perks. There is also a limited edition of the game that will give players early access to U.S. SEAL Team Sniper equipped with the McMilllan TAC-300.
Country Playable faction(s)
 Australia SASR
 Canada JTF2
 Germany KSK
 Norway FSK
 Poland GROM
 Russia Alpha Group
 South Korea UDT/SEALs
 Sweden SOG
 United Kingdom SAS
 United States SEALs
SFOD-D
OGA (CIA SAD/SOG) Tier1 operators
These different nationalities all have their own specialties, and this can mean life or death depending on your statistics. For instance, if you sneak up behind an enemy, your stealth statistics will decide whether or not the enemy will hear you coming.

Customization

Warfighter features deep customization, for both the players appearance and the player's weapon. The player is able to equip various barrels, muzzles, magazines, stocks, optics, and paint jobs of the weapon.

Plot

The game picks up where Medal of Honor (2010) left off from before. Players control Tier 1 Operators through various scenarios, including rescuing hostages in Abu Sayyaf’s stronghold in the Philippines, and assaulting Al-Shabaab’s pirate town on the Somali Coast. Missions are based on several recent events and have an overarching storyline connecting them.
The game's plot reveals Tier 1 operator Preacher returning home to find his family torn apart from years of deployment. There are two playable characters in the campaign. The main mission is to track down dealers of an explosive, PETN, which is discovered to have crossed borders into the United States.

Music

The music for Warfighter was composed by Ramin Djawadi, who also composed the music for Medal of Honor (2010). The official soundtrack was released on September 25th, 2012, on iTunes and Amazon, nearly one month before the release of the game. The soundtrack consists of 21 tracks, 2 of which were composed by Mike Shinoda, the co-vocalist and rapper of Linkin Park. Linkin Park's song Castle of Glass (from their newest release Living Things) serves as the theme song for Warfighter, and variations of the song appear on the soundtrack. Themes from the previous game reappear as well, albeit in slightly differed forms. The official video was released on October 10, 2012.

Development

Just one month after the reboot of the franchise was released, EA CEO John Riccitiello stated that "Consumer feedback has been strong to suggest that we've got a franchise now, once again, that we could successfully and effectively sequel in the future." On February 18, 2011, Gregory Goodrich, the Executive Producer of Danger Close Games revealed that the company would be pursuing a sequel to the 2010 reboot in a letter on the official Medal of Honor website.

On January 11, 2012, retailer Game revealed that EA plans to release new entries in the Medal of Honor and Need for Speed series later that year, which was shown by EA during a confidential presentation.Several video game website outlets such as GameSpot and Kotaku disclosed an invitation to a March 6, 2012 public unveiling at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, indicating that a new installment in the Medal of Honor franchise would have its first public demonstration.

Dance Central 3 is an upcoming music video game developed and published by Harmonix Music Systems and co-developed by Backbone Entertainment. It was announced at E3 2012 during Microsoft's press conference. The game will be released on October 16, 2012 in the U.S., Canada, & Latin America, & on October 19, 2012 in Europe, Asia, Australia, & Japan.

Gameplay

Gameplay is similar to the other two games in the series in which players follow dance moves which are tracked by the Xbox Kinect. The more accurately the players dance, the more points they earn. Harder difficulties mean harder moves for the players to follow. New to Dance Central 3 is the Crew Throwdown mode where two teams of up to four go head-to-head in a series of performances, dance battles & mini-games. There will be a "Keep the Beat" mini-game which will have the player track the rhythm and the "Make Your Move" mini-game which will have players compete making up routines on the fly. Also new to Dance Central 3 is the Beginner mode, a difficulty mode for people completely new to dancing games, and Party Mode, where random songs and minigames are played and as people play, they are progressively moved up or down a difficulty depending on how well they are performing.

Characters

It was revealed at E3 that each crew in the game would represent a different decade. Lu$h Crew represents the 70s (with the exception of the "Electric Boogie", which will be attributed to Hi-Def). Hi-Def represents the 80s, Flash4wrd represents the 90s, Riptide represents the 2000s, and DCI represents the 2010s / present day. The Characters that are in purple are new characters."

007 Legends is an upcoming first-person shooter video game featuring the character of British secret agent James Bond. It is being developed by Eurocom and is due for release in October 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, November 2012 for Microsoft Windows, and December 2012 for Wii U. The game will be available as physical optical disk media, as well as a digital release download via PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace on date of release.
The purpose behind the game is to celebrate fifty years of James Bond on film. To achieve this the single player campaign will include one mission from each of the six actors’ eras, being Goldfinger, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Moonraker, Licence to Kill and Die Another Day, with Skyfall to be released as downloadable content. Additionally, some of the original talent from the films are adding their likenesses and voices to their associated characters. 007 Legends will be the fourth James Bond game title to be released by Activision.

Gameplay

Being built on the engine used for Eurocom’s previous title, 2011’s GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, 007 Legends shares much of the same gameplay, though there are some notable additions and modifications. The most significant change is the greater focus on stealth-based play, with enemy AI being more suspicious and investigative. Throughout the campaign players will frequently be presented with situations that require stealth to get past, though often running-and-gunning will also be an option. To compliment such stealth scenarios, players will have access to three gadgets from the start of the campaign: the returning smartphone, which has new vision modes and binocular capabilities; a new dart pen that can fire four different types of dart, including distraction, shock and tranquillizer darts; and a wristwatch that can fire a laser and map nearby enemies and cameras.

Another notable addition is the incorporation of an XP (experience points) progression system. Players can use XP to unlock and/or upgrade gadgets, weapons (and attachments) and Bond’s physical abilities.
Other notable points include there being at least one vehicle-based level in each of the missions,

a new free-form melee function that enables players to control punches with the analogue sticks and new weapons.

Challenges
As with the MI6 Ops Missions mode from GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, Challenges will present extra missions based on assault, elimination, stealth and defence-based objectives, with adjustable difficulty. New to this mode will be the option to play special missions for some of the villains and companions from the single player. Players’ scores will be uploaded onto online leaderboards.

Multiplayer

Multiplayer is supported across all platforms. 4-player split-screen will be available for local (offline) play while online play will have capacity for up to 12 players in a match. Players’ multiplayer experience will be indicated by their level, such as Level 50 (00 Agent Grade 0). There is also a 00 Specialization mode, similar to Call of Duty’s Prestige system. Character skins and maps from the single player will be available to players. Players can also equip gadgets to enhance their abilities, such as the Fast Switch gadget which halves the time it takes to switch weapons. Scenarios revealed so far are Bomb Defuse, Escalation and Data Miner.

Development

The game, which is being developed to coincide with the fiftieth anniversary of the James Bond film franchise will incorporate the stories of six Bond films, one film chosen from each Bond actor's series of films, and retelling them with an overarching narrative that ties them together, that of the progression of James Bond, from a newly christened agent on through becoming experienced as 007. The player goes through the classic Bond missions in the game playing as the Daniel Craig incarnation of Bond, as along the lines of the 2010 remake of GoldenEye 007 for the Nintendo Wii, and the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 port called GoldenEye 007: Reloaded.

At the official announcement of the game on 18 April 2012, publisher Activision did not comment on which films would be remade in the game, but admitted that the upcoming Skyfall will serve as the final portion of the game.
Moonraker was revealed to be the first mission of the game, while the second mission will be based on the film On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Goldfinger, Licence to Kill, and Die Another Day will also feature in the story.
The only mission that is not on the game disc itself is the "Skyfall" mission, which will be released later as free downloadable content, since 007: Legends is released one week before Skyfall is first released to theaters. The Skyfall DLC will be available shortly after the film's American release on November 9, 2012.
Bruce Feirstein, who wrote three films and four games in the James Bond universe, also wrote the screenplay along with Robin Matthews, who specially works for Eurocom.

Cast

Alongside Daniel Craig as James Bond throughout the single player campaign, the vast majority of characters are modelled after their portrayals in the film series. The three exceptions to this are the characters of Ernst Stavro Blofeld, Felix Leiter and Jinx: Blofeld is an amalgamation of the three actors who portrayed him; Felix has the likeness and voice of Demetri Goritsas; and Jinx is based on Gabriela Montaraz rather than Halle Berry, who originally played the part. Accordingly to the plot of Die Another Day, the appearance of Gustav Graves is based on that of James Bond, which in this case is Daniel Craig rather than Pierce Brosnan.
